Sunday afternoon 20th May Practice
I know we have a few ladies away who migrate north for the winter every year. and with the bitter cold of late who can blame them.
The learners did very well again and learnt a new dance, I have to say how impressed I am with Miles and Karen's dancing, they both pick it up so easily, especially Miles, Tall Robert also does very well, but struggles with his leg problems. Pity about the other Rob, not sure what to say about him!!!
Amazingly, I believe there has been a change in positions for our Three Musketeers as well, Miles is still number one and will be hard to shift, now my hubby Rob has somehow stepped up to the number two position with Tall Rob at number three. I think Tall Rob has been hard done by though. My other half, “Rob”, certainly struggled concentrating through the last dance and didn’t seem to know his left from his right, mmmmmm! Lucky I wasn’t allocating Musketeer positions., but despite the shenanigans it’s great to have the men there.
The preparations for the ball are well in hand and the girls are still raising funds, so if anyone wants to assist in selling raffle tickets get in contact with anyone off the committee, they would really appreciate the help.
Thanks to everyone for coming along and making the day so much fun.
Thanks to Viv and Maurine and Phil for making the trip from Sussex and everyone else that travelled some distance, it’s always great to have you there.
Rob took a few happy snaps before he left after the beginners finished.

Sunday Practice and Dancing
Is it just me or is the time really just flying by, It seems I have just written the report one week and I'm writing another for the next week. Must mean I'm having allot of fun.
Well what a day we had on Sunday, it’s been a while since we have had around 45 dancers come along all on the same day.
I had my daughter and my new Grandchild Madison down from Queensland and I'm sure I saw her tapping her little toes to the music.
The beginners are going great and some a venturing into the intermediate class and having a go, it was only a matter of a few weeks before they all became familiar with Linedancing terms and what they mean to the dancing.

The new floor in the club is starting to settle in, and this week was allot easier on the legs, It certainly looks fantastic all shiny and new and a credit to the club for looking after such a valuable asset.
Preparations for our Country Shingid are going great, Rob is on the job and into producing some great props for the stage and the auditorium to add that special atmosphere on the night, It’s going to be one great night of dancing fun in a fabulous atmosphere full of colour.
I can’t wait! anyway everyone have a great week and see you all next Sunday or before , don’t forget to check my own blog site for details of other opportunities to dance during the week, Id love to see you come along to one of my classes..
I have added some more old pictures to the picture blog, so for a trip down memory lane click on the link above and spend a little time looking around.
